New-look league website features responsive design with modern, simplified features

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Sept. 11, 2018 – Enhancing its online presence, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) today proudly launched a redesigned version of its official website, wcha.com. The modernized look highlights top stories around the WCHA, optimizes video content, provides real-time social media feeds, streamlines historical archives and features upgraded team and statistical data, while providing one-stop access to the Association’s live streaming and e-commerce platforms. Built with a responsive design for scalability across devices, the new wcha.com will bring fans ever-closer to their favorite league and teams.

Additionally, when the puck drops on the 2018-19 campaign, the site will feature a new, easy-to-read game recap and box score format, allowing fans to quickly access the essential information from each WCHA contest. The site’s statistical platform, which is integrated with collegehockeystats.net and contains some of the more expansive analysis available, will continue to see future upgrades as the season unfolds.

The redesign, which encompasses both the WCHA Men’s and Women’s League sites, was produced in collaboration between the Association office and website provider 867 Studios.
