WCHA Announces One-Game Suspension For Ferris State's Hunter Wendt
Freshman forward will miss Bulldogs' next NCAA Division I game

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Dec. 15, 2018 - The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Men's League office today announced a one-game suspension for Ferris State freshman forward Hunter Wendt, effective for the Bulldogs' next NCAA Division I contest.

The suspension is a result of Wendt's five-minute major penalty and game misconduct infraction for contact to the head, which occurred at the 15:12 mark of the second period in Ferris State's game of Friday, Dec. 14 at Northern Michigan. Upon review, the hit was delivered in a manner that warranted the suspension.

Ferris State's next scheduled game is today, Saturday, Dec. 15 at Northern Michigan. Wendt would be eligible to return for the Bulldogs' Friday, Dec. 28 contest at Minnesota.
