BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Feb. 13, 2021 – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association Men's League office today announced a one-game suspension for Bemidji State freshman forward Lukas Sillinger, effective for the Beavers' next NCAA Division I contest.
The suspension is a result of Sillinger's five-minute major penalty for charging which occurred at the 0:33 mark of the third period in Bemidji State's home contest of Friday, Feb. 12 with Northern Michigan. Upon review, the infraction was deemed to warrant a suspension.
Bemidji State's next scheduled game is tonight, Saturday, Feb. 13, at home against Northern Michigan. Sillinger would be eligible to return for the Beavers' Friday, Feb. 19, 2021 road contest at Michigan Tech.
