WCHA Announces One-Game Suspension For Alaska Anchorage's Mason Mitchell
Freshman forward will miss Seawolves' next NCAA Division I game

EDINA, Minn. – Oct. 24, 2015 – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) league office today announced a one-game suspension for Alaska Anchorage freshman forward Mason Mitchell, effective for the Seawolves' next NCAA Division I contest.

The suspension is a result of Mitchell's game misconduct infraction for contact to the head, which occurred at the 1:22 mark of the first period in Alaska Anchorage's game of Friday, Oct. 23 at Alabama Huntsville.

Alaska Anchorage's next scheduled game is tonight, Oct. 24 at Alabama Huntsville. Mitchell would be eligible to return for the Seawolves' Saturday, Oct. 31 home contest vs. Bowling Green.
