Sophomore forward will miss Chargers' next two NCAA Division I games

EDINA, Minn. – Jan. 19, 2016 – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) league office today announced a two-game suspension for Alabama Huntsville sophomore forward Brennan Saulnier, effective for the Chargers' next two NCAA Division I contests.

The suspension came after a review of Saulnier's game misconduct infraction, which was assessed following a hit with contact to the head of an opposing player, at the 14:29 mark of the first period in Alabama Huntsville's game of Saturday, Jan. 16 at Ferris State.

Alabama Huntsville's next scheduled games are Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29 and 30, at Alaska Anchorage. Saulnier would be eligible to return for the Chargers' Friday, Feb. 12 contest against Minnesota State.
