WCHA Announces One-Game Suspension For Alabama Huntsville's Tyler Poulsen
Junior forward will miss Chargers' next NCAA Division I game

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Oct. 21, 2017 – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Men's League office today announced a one-game suspension for Alabama Huntsville junior forward Tyler Poulsen, effective for the Chargers' next NCAA Division I contest.

The suspension is a result of Poulsen's elbowing penalty, which came at the 11:11 mark of the third period in Alabama Huntsville's game of Friday, Oct. 20 at Michigan Tech. Upon review, Poulsen made contact with the skater's head in a manner that warranted the suspension.

Alabama Huntsville's next scheduled game is tonight, Saturday, Oct. 21 at Michigan Tech. Poulsen would be eligible to return for the Chargers' Friday, Oct. 27 contest at Cornell.
