More about Katy…

Are you, or any family, associated with Alaska Anchorage:

My son, Shane Jensen (@EQlife11) is the Equipment Manager.

I love Seawolves hockey because:

Being from Minnesota, "The State of Hockey," loving the game is a given! Having a son working for the Seawolves makes UAA my automatic #1 team. Getting to know some of the staff and players has cemented their standing.

My favorite hockey memory is:

This goes way back to the 80s (I think?) and my hometown team, the UMD Bulldogs. Watching Dan Lempe get checked and getting his face smushed into the glass right in front of me. For some reason that image remains crystal clear all these years later.

What I'm most looking forward to about the rest of the 2017-18 season is:

Mostly MORE UAA WINS!!!!! We have a couple more roadies on the calendar to Bemidji and Mankato and should have some bigger groups joining on those trips. It'll be great to have a bigger fan base supporting our team at these away games.

Describe WCHA hockey in one word or phrase:

ADRENALINE
