WCHA Announces Two-Game Suspension For Alabama Huntsville's Brennan Saulnier
Senior forward will miss Chargers' next two NCAA Division I games

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Dec. 18, 2017 – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Men's League office today announced a two-game suspension for Alabama Huntsville senior forward Brennan Saulnier, effective for the Chargers' next two NCAA Division I contests.

The suspension is a result of Saulnier's five-minute major penalty and game misconduct infraction for contact to the head – elbowing, which occurred at the 19:31 mark of the third period in Alabama Huntsville's game of Saturday, Dec. 16 at Minnesota State. Upon review, the hit was delivered in a manner that warranted the suspension.

Alabama Huntsville's next two scheduled games are Friday, Dec. 29 and Saturday, Dec. 30 at Bemidji State. Saulnier would be eligible to return for the Chargers' Friday, Jan. 5 contest at Alaska.
