FAIRBANKS - Alaska Anchorage's offense propelled the Seawolves to a 3-1-0 start on the season with a 6-2 victory over American International in Game 3 of the Brice Alaska Goal Rush Saturday at the Carlson Center.

The Seawolves' top line of senior center Blake Tatchell, sophomore left wing Tad Kozun and freshman right wing Jeremiah Luedtke combined for four goals and seven assists, giving UAA its first back-to-back wins since Jan. 16-17, 2015 vs. Alaska Fairbanks. Meanwhile, sophomore forward Anthony Conti (Vancouver, B.C) contributed from the fourth line with two goals.

Tatchell (2-2-4), from North Battleford, Sask., picked up his first points of the season and first four-point game of his career, while Luedtke (Lynnwood, Wash.) also had four points with assists on all of the first four goals. Additionally, Kozun (2-1-3) (Nipawin, Sask.) added three points for a career high, while netting both goals on the power play. The last time a Seawolf registered four points was Dec. 6, 2014 by Brett Cameron (4-0-4).

The Yellow Jackets got on the board at 15:37 of the second with a strike by Austin Orszulak, before Johnny Mueller added the final goal of the night at 9:52 of the third.

Getting his first start of the season in net was sophomore Jared D'Amico. A local of Cochrane, Alberta, D'Amico made 25 saves - including 11 stops in the second and third - for his first career win. AIC's Alex Murray turned aside 36 shots as the Seawolves peppered him with a season-high 42 shots.

The last time UAA netted six goals was Feb. 28, 2015 vs. Bowling Green (6-1).

The Seawolves remain on the road when they open Western Collegiate Hockey Association play, Oct. 23-24 at Alabama Huntsville.
