HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team fell to rival Bemidji State by a final score of 5-1 on Saturday night at the Von Braun Center in the WCHA series finale. UAH dips to 9-17-2 (8-12-2 WCHA), while BSU rises to 14-8-6 (11-5-4 WCHA).

Turning Point

- An early power play goal by BSU's Charlie Combs gave the visitors the early lead, which was added to in the third period with a total of four goals in the frame on the way to the 5-1 victory for the Beavers.

Scoring Breakdown

- Brennan Saulnier was dealt a major penalty early into the contest, allowing Bemidji State to notch a 1-0 advantage on the power play at 2:53 of the first.

- Both sides went scoreless for the remainder of the first and through the second, as UAH goalie Jordan Uhelski amassed 26 saves entering the third.

- Bemidji State's offense overcame the UAH defense in the third period, potting goals at 7:05 by Justin Baudry, 9:31 by Aaron Miller and 12:19 by Baudry again to lead the Chargers 4-0.
