Head coach Brad Frost enters his third season at the helm of the University of Minnesota women's hockey team. Last year, Frost led the team to a WCHA regular season championship and a NCAA Frozen Four berth, the team's first since the 2005-06 season.
In his first two seasons as at the helm of the Minnesota hockey program, Brad Frost has elevated the program back to a national and WCHA contender. After holding the interim head coach title in 2007-08, Frost was named head coach on April 16, 2008.
