The Ohio State women's hockey team is celebrating its 10th year during the 2008-09 season. The Buckeyes have been under the direction of head coach Jackie Barto during the entire duration, with an all-time record of 139-160-31.
Jackie Barto, the first and only head coach of the Ohio State women's ice hockey team, is in her 10th season at the helm of the Buckeyes. Over the past nine years, she has established Ohio State as a top university for collegiate women's hockey while competing in the toughest conference in the nation - the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, winner of all eight NCAA women's hockey championships.
