Wisconsin will spend five of its first seven weekends on the road, but will only play three road weekends after the weekend of Nov. 21-22.
The Badgers welcome seven freshmen to the roster, and will also welcome Tom Bardis, a sophomore transfer from St. Lawrence who sat out the 2007-08 season.
After a playing career that ended with the most prolific scoring numbers in Wisconsin hockey history and an NCAA title, Mike Eaves returned to his alma mater for the 2002-03 season as the fifth coach in the modern era of Badger hockey. Now through six years behind the bench, Eaves has added to his legacy, bringing the program's sixth NCAA title to Madison.
