COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Dave Delich, who still reigns as Tiger Hockey¹s all-time scoring leader with 285 career points (111 goals, 174 assists), will add to his list of lifelong accolades this fall when he and his brother Chuck are inducted into the Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame.

Chuck Delich is the Air Force Academy hockey program¹s all-time leading scorer. Dave, meanwhile, previously was inducted into the Colorado College Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of its eighth class in 2002. His 84 points (32g,52a) as a senior in 1978-79, when he also won the WCHA scoring title, remains a school single-season record. He was drafted in the seventh round of the NHL draft in 1976 by the Minnesota North Stars after winning gold medals at the 1978 and 1979 USOC National Sports Festivals. He was a member of the 1978, 1980 and 1983 USA national teams, winning a gold medal with the 1983 World Championship squad.

The Deliches will join Greco-Roman wrestling legend and 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist Rulon Gardner, figure skaters Colleen O¹Conner and Jim Milns, former Widefield High School football and track star Darryl Clack, and the 1982 and 1983 Air Force Academy football teams in the Hall of Fame's Class of 2006. Induction ceremonies will take place Oct. 25 at the Colorado Springs World Arena.
