MADISON, Wis. - Four current and 29 future Western Collegiate Hockey Association players figured in Central Scouting's Final Rankings as the National Hockey League's 2009 Entry Draft takes place this weekend, Friday June 26 and Saturday, June 27, in Montreal, Quebec. The four current WCHA member-team players ranked are University of Minnesota center Jordan Schroeder (So., Prior Lake, MN) at No. 5, St. Cloud State University winger Jared Festler (So., Little Falls, MN) at No. 112, University of Wisconsin winger Jordy Murray (So., Faribault, MN) at No. 175, and University of Minnesota Duluth center Mike Connolly (So., Calgary, AB) at No. 206. Jordan was the WCHA Rookie of the Year in 2008-09 and was also named to the All-WCHA Second Team and All-WCHA Rookie Team while Connolly earned All-WCHA Rookie Team honors.

The first round of the draft will be held Friday, June 26 (7:00 pmET, VERSUS, TSN, RDS). Rounds 2-7 will be Saturday, June 27 (10:00 am ET, NHL Network, RDS).

There are also a total of 29 WCHA member-team recruits for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons (indicated by 2010) who are listed in Central Scouting's Final Rankings.
