ALASKA AIRLINES GOVERNOR'S CUP
For the ninth consecutive year, the Seawolves and Nanooks will battle for the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup, a traveling trophy that goes to the winner of the season series. The Seawolves, who currently have the Cup, have won it five times to the Nanooks' three. All games are conducted by NCAA rules, including if necessary, an overtime period. Should the series end in a tie, a shootout will be conducted following the conclusion of the final game of the series in March. The shootout will be used to determine the winner of the Cup only-any tie games will officially be declared a tie.
