Judd Medak, F, Minnesota-Duluth

A 6-0, 190-pounder from Vancouver, B.C., Medak had a hand in seven of his team's 10 goals vs RPI and the UMD captain is now tied for second among WCHA players in scoring overall with five goals, seven assists and 12 points in six games.

On Saturday (Oct. 27) night, Medak again led the charge with a goal and three assists for four points as UMD rallied from a 2-0 second period deficit to record a 6-5 triumph over RPI and a sweep of the series.

From Elk River, Minn., the 6-2, 180-pound Martin played a key role at both ends of the ice for the Golden Gophers, who ran their season-opening winning streak to five (5-0-0) with the 8-0 and 9-0 wins over Colgate.
In addition to helping his team blank the Raiders in all six periods and hold them to just 46 shots on goal in the two games, Martin was a fixture on Minnesota's penalty-kill unit which held Colgate scoreless in all 10 weekend power-play chances.
In addition to his defensive contributions against Colgate, Martin also managed to extend his season-opening point streak to five games with one goal and three assists for four points.
