MADISON, Wisc. - The University of Minnesota (6-0-1), St. Cloud State University (8-0-0) and University of Denver (6-0-0) - the nation's No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3-ranked teams respectively in last week's USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Men's College Hockey Poll (Oct. 29), remain unbeaten as the 2001-02 regular season marks its second month. The Golden Gophers earned three points at Michigan Tech last Friday (Nov. 2) and Saturday (Nov. 3) with a 7-3 win and 5-5 tie, the Huskies won twice over defending MacNaughton Cup champion North Dakota, 8-4 and 6-1, and the Pioneers swept a home-and-home set from pre-season WCHA coaches' favorite Colorado College, 3- 2 (ot) and 3-2.
