WCHA Offensive Player of the Week

Jeff Taffe, a junior forward whose three goals and four scoring points helped No. 1-ranked and unbeaten University of Minnesota to a win and tie at Michigan and Michigan State last weekend in the annual College Hockey Showcase, has been selected as the WCHA Offensive Player of the Week for Nov. 26-Dec. 2.

Colorado College

Colorado College defenseman Tom Preissing, who played an instrumental role at both ends of the ice in the Tigers' two conference victories over visiting Alaska Anchorage over the Thanksgiving weekend, has been honored as the WCHA Defensive Player of the Week for Nov. 26-Dec. 2. Preissing also earned the award back on Oct. 22.

Michigan Tech

Freshman defenseman Brady Greco of Michigan Tech Univer- sity, who turned in a strong two-way effort in a weekend series at Wayne State, has been named the WCHA Rookie of the Week for Nov. 26-Dec. 2. A 6-3, 190-pounder from Middleton, Wisc., Greco earned a +3 plus/minus rating in the two-game non-conference series and also contributed three scoring points.
