OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lill Raynard, F, Bemidji State

Lill Raynard earned the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Offensive Player of the Week award with four points in Bemidji State's two ties with Minnesota State.

The Clifford, Ontario native scored both goals and took five shots in the Beavers 2-2 tie in the series opener. The first, a power-play goal, snapped the Beavers three game scoreless streak and seven-game power-play scoreless drought. Her second was her team's first short-handed goal of the season.

In a 3-3 tie in the second contest, the senior set up two goals, including the game-tying score, and fired three shots. Her first assist set up teammate Amber Fryklund's 100th career point.

Raynard ranks second on the Beavers with 12 points on five goals and seven assists.

Others nominated: Jenny Potter, UMD; Amanda Osborn, MSU; Steph Millar, UW

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jackie MacMillan, G, Wisconsin

Jackie MacMillan made 17 saves in Wisconsin's 2-1 victory at St. Lawrence to earn this week's Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Defensive Player of the Week honor.

In the Badgers lone regular-season game of the week, the Buffalo, Minn., native helped the UW earn a victory over the fifth-ranked Saints. Among the saves made by the senior included a breakaway and a kick save on a two-on-one.

The victory improved MacMillan to 11-4-4 on the season. The senior, who has played every minute in goal for the Badgers this season, lowered her goals-against average to 2.02 and upped her save percentage to .911.

Others nominated: Jody Horak, UM; Jen Jonsson, MSU

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Natalie Darwitz, F, Minnesota

Natalie Darwitz collected eight points in a sweep of St. Cloud State and tied a team record to earn this week's Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Rookie of the Week award.

The Eagan, Minn., native scored both goals in the Gophers 2-1 victory at St. Cloud State and chipped in five shots in the victory. She was plus-2 in the game.

The frosh then scored once and assisted on five others in the UM's 10-2 win at home. Her five assists, on consecutive Minnesota goals, tied the school record for single-game assists.

Darwitz now leads the Gophers and all League rookies with 44 points on 20 goals and 24 points. She also shares the national lead with five game-winning goals.

Others nominated: Andrea Jensrud, MSU
