Offensive Player of the Week
Noemie Marin, Minnesota Duluth
Marin, a sophomore forwrad from Acton-Vale, Quebec, played a key role in the Bulldogs 4-0 and 4-1 sweep of Minnesota State over the weekend of January 21-22.
Friday, Marin tallied two short-handed goals just 27 seconds apart at the end of the first period. The goals set Bulldog records for the fastest goal by a single player, the fastest short-handed goals by a single player and fastest short-handed goals in a game. It also tied an NCAA record for the most short-handed goals by an individual in a single game.
Saturday was more of the same as Marin garnered a goal and an assist in the victory. She ended the weekend with 16 shots on net and a +3 rating.

Defensive Player of the Week
Julianne Vasichek, Minnesota Duluth
Vasichek, a senior defenseman from Great Falls, Mont., enjoyed her best series of the season in the Bulldogs' sweep of Minnesota State, January 21-22.
In Friday's 4-0 win, she was a key member of the defensive unit that allowed the Mavericks to record just 14 shots on net for the entire game. She also contributed to the offense with six shots of her ownt. Saturday, she scored two goals including her third career game-winning tally. The two goals in the game were a new career best. She posted a +3 rating for the weekend.

Rookie of the Week
Laura Fast, St. Cloud State
Fast, a freshman forward from Calgary, Alberta, recorded two assists in the Huskies' 3-3 overtime tie with Niagara on January 23.
Fast assisted on Kristy Oonincx's goal which brough the Huskies within one and then added her second helper of the game on Carrie Halldorf's game-tying power play goal.
