OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Katie Ward, F, Bemidji State
Katie Ward doubled her season output of four points with a two-goal, two-assist weekend that helped Bemidji State sweep St. Cloud State. The performance earned Ward Western Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Player of the Week honors.
The Chaska, Minn., native took four shots in failing to record a point in the Beavers' 3-1 victory in the series opener.
The sophomore then exploded with a four-point, three-shot, plus-3 game in Saturday's 6-1 victory. Ward broke a scoreless game with a goal early in the second period, then scored a second goal and set up another in the period to help BSU to a 4-0 lead. She added an assist early in the third period that helped put the Beavers up five.
Ward now has eight points on five goals and three assists.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jill Luebke, G, Bemidji State
Jill Luebke recorded a career-high 34 saves in Bemidji State's 6-1 victory over St. Cloud State to become this week's Western Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week.
The Neenah, Wis., native kept the Huskies scoreless until the third period, making multiple one-on-one saves to keep SCSU off the scoreboard.
The frosh is now 2-1-4 on the season with a .914 save percentage and a 2.51 goals-against average.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Caroline Ouellette, F, Minnesota-Duluth
Caroline Ouellette scored a hat trick and totaled four goals as Minnesota-Duluth earned a road sweep against Minnesota State. For the effort, Ouellete is the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Rookie of the Week.
The Montreal, Quebec native scored a short-handed goal, was plus-2 and fired seven shots in UMD's 6-1 series-opening victory.
The rookie then returned to the ice for the series finale with a hat trick to lead the Bulldogs to an 8-1 victory. Included in the hat trick was a power-play tally. She finished the contest with nine shots on goal.
This season, Ouellette has 37 points on 15 goals and 22 assists to rank third in the League in rookie scoring.
