Offensive Player Of The Week
Krissy Wendell, Minnesota

Wendell, a sophomore from Brooklyn Park, Minn., registered seven points as the Gophers swept Bemidji State. She totaled two goals and five assists on the weekend.

In Saturday's 4-1 win, Wendell had a goal, the game-winning tally, and two assists. She capped the weekend playing a role in all of the Gophers' scoring with a goal and three assists in the 4-0 victory.

Wendell finished +7 on the weekend and leads the team in scoring with 44 points on the season.

Defensive Player of the Week
Bobbi-Jo Slusar, Wisconsin

Slusar, a freshman defender from Swift Current, Sask., picked up three assists on the weekend as the Badgers posted a two-game sweep of St. Cloud State.

Friday, Slusar had an assist as Wisconsin a 4-1 win. Saturday, she had a multi-point effort as she dished out two assists.

Slusar finished the weekend with a +5 ranking.

Rookie of the Week
Sara Bauer, Wisconsin

Bauer, a freshman forward from St. Catherine's, Ontario, led her teammates in overall scoring and to a series sweep over St. Cloud State. Bauer tallied two goals and three assists on the weekend.

Friday, Bauer tallied two assists, including one on the game-winner, in the Badgers' 4-1 win. In Saturday's 6-2 victory, Bauer posted two goals and an assist.

She finished the weekend with a +5 rating.

Becky Wacker, Minnesota

Wacker, a freshman from York, Maine, finished the weekend with five points as the Gophers swept Bemidji State. Wacker had two goals and three assists in the two games.

She scored a goal and had an assist in the 4-1 victory and then had a hand in three of the Gophers' four goals Sunday as she had a goal and two assists. Wacker finished the weekend with a +6 rating.
