MADISON, Wis. - The Western Collegiate Hockey Association and Ralph Engelstad Arena have announced that tickets for the 2003 WCHA Women's Final Five, March 6-8 in Grand Forks, N.D., are now available.

All-session tickets for the five-game tournament are available via ticketmaster, including www.ticketmaster.com, or at the Ralph Engelstad Arena box office in person or by calling 701-775-5151. Ticket packages for adults cost $27 each, while ticket packages for seniors and students (under 18) are $17 each. Single-game tickets, if available, will be sold beginning Thursday, March 6 at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

This is the second season that the WCHA will use the five-team format. The University of Minnesota won the 2002 WCHA Women's Final Five with a 3-2 victory over the University of Wisconsin. The third-place team, Minnesota-Duluth, went on to win its second consecutive NCAA championship two weeks later.

This year's tournament will be held at one of the premier ice hockey facilities in the world. The $104+ million dollar facility known as "Ralph Engelstad Arena" opened its doors on October 5, 2001. The 400,000 square foot arena includes granite concourse floors, leather and cherry wood seats, and 48 luxury suites for the fans. For hockey players, fourteen locker rooms and an extra Olympic-sized sheet of ice, in addition to the arena itself, are the attraction.

"Ralph Engelstad Arena is excited to host the 2003 Women's WCHA Final Five, "said Todd Berning, Ralph Engelstad Arena General Manager. "With the addition of Division I Women's Fighting Sioux Hockey at "The Ralph" this season, the tournament is the perfect event to cap off the inaugural year of Division I Women's Hockey at the University of North Dakota. We look forward to a successful tournament!"
