Offensive Player of the Week
Sara Bauer, Wisconsin

Bauer, a sophomore forward from St. Catherines, Ontario, helped lead the Badgers to a two-game sweep of Minnesota State. The Badgers posted a 3-0 win Saturday, February 5 and a 7-2 win Sunday, February 6.

In Saturday's win, Bauer had an assist on the power play to secure the Badgers's victory. Sunday, she completed her third hat trick of the season, scoring the game-winning goal and completing the hattrick with a shorthanded tally.

The four-point weekend was highlighted by Bauer's 12th multi-point and fourth multi-goal game of the season.

Defensive Player of the Week
Amber Bowman, Ohio State

Bowman, a sophomore defenseman from Innisfil, Ontario, led the Buckeye defense and tied for first on the team with four points in Ohio State's first road sweep over Bemidji State, February 4-5.

Friday, she assisted on two goals, including the game-winning goal in the 5-1 victory. Bowman then scored the game-winning goal and recorded a helper in the 4-3 victory Saturday.

The four-point weekend marked her best performance this season. Bowman also played a key role in Ohio State's power play and penalty kill, which held Bemidji State scoreless on all seven power-play chances. This season, Bowman fifth on the squad with 18 points, on four goals and 14 assists.

Rookie of the Week
Jinelle Zaugg, Wisconsin

Zaugg, a fresahman forward from Eagle River, Wisc., made significant contributions in the Badgers series sweep of Minnesota State, February 5-6. Wisconsin posted a 3-0 win Saturday and a 7-2 victory Sunday. In her first multi-goal game of her career, Zaugg tallied two crucial and well-timed goals in the win.

Karine Demeule, Minnesota Duluth

A freshman from Montreal, Quebec, Demeule helped propel the Bulldogs to a series sweep of North Dakota with 5-1 and 4-1 victories February 5-6.

In Sunday's 4-1 win, Demeule, who joined the team after the holiday break, recorded her first multiple point game for UMD garnering a goal and two assists. Her goal also marked her first game-winning tally of her career.
