The Golden Gophers have now remained the top team in the nation for 17 consecutive weeks and added a pair of wins over St. Cloud State University to extend their winning steak to 11 games.
Harvard University made a move up to No. 5 after a 6-3 win over No. 3 Dartmouth on Saturday (Feb. 5) in Hanover, N.H.
NOTES: Minnesota's streak of 17 straight weeks at No. 1 is second only to Dartmouth's streak of 21 weeks in 2000-01 ... Four of the top-10 teams are members of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Hockey League, while Nos. 1, 2 and 4 hail from the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
