Offensive Player of the Week
Krissy Wendell, Minnesota
Wendell, a junior forward from Brooklyn Park, Minn., led the top-ranked Golden Gophers to a home series sweep of North Dakota, Saturday and Sunday, February 12-13.
In Saturday's 7-0 win, Wendell scored her sixth hattrick of the season and added an assist. Sunday, she dished out three assists as the Gophers posted a 4-2 victory.
In her two games played, Wendell capitalized three goals on 10 shots and she also was +6.

Defensive Player of the Week
Emily Brookshaw, Bemidji State
Brookshaw, a freshman goaltender from Webster, Wis., backstopped the Beavers to a series sweep of Minnesota State, February 11-12. Brookshaw posted back-to-back shutout victories, winning 3-0 Friday and 1-0 Saturday.
In Friday's win, she stopped all 16 shots faced. Brookshaw then came back Saturday to stop all 19 Maverick shots to record her second consecutive shutout.
Bookshaw set Beaver records for consecutive shutouts by single goalie (2), shutouts in a season (3), and longest shutout sequence (currently 122:38). She also tied the Beaver record for shutouts in a career (3) and moved into a fourth-place tie for wins in a season (5).

Rookie of the Week
Jinelle Zaugg, Wisconsin
Zaugg, a freshman forward from Eagle River, Wis., had another outstanding weekend as she helped the Badgers to a sweep of Ohio State, Friday and Saturday, February 11-12.
Friday, Zaugg scored two goals, including the game-winner, in the Badgers' 6-3 victory. Her first goal of the game came just 10 seconds after Nikki Burish tallied to makr the fastest back-to-back goals scored by the Badges.
In Saturday's 7-2 win, Zaugg had a goal and an assist. Zaugg now ranks 14th among the nation's rookies in point-scoring.
