COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Minnesota returned to the top of the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll after three weeks in the No. 2 position. Minnesota split the weekend series with No. 5 University of Wisconsin. Both the Badgers and the Golden Gophers notched a single goal in regulation on Friday, but the Badger's Carla MacLeod scored the game-winner at 2:02 of the overtime period to earn the win 2-1 for Wisconsin. Minnesota came back on Saturday, defeating the Badgers, 2-1.

The former No. 1, Dartmouth College, slipped to No. 4 in this week's poll after suffering two losses at the hands of ECAC opponent No. 3 St. Lawrence University. The Saints blanked Dartmouth, 3-0, on Friday and followed up with a 3-2 victory on Saturday. Forward Gina Kingsbury notched two goals and three points for the Saints including a game-winning power-play goal on Saturday.

No. 2 Harvard University climbed one place in the poll after registering three victories this week. Harvard defeated Northeastern University, 5-1, on Tuesday to take the Beanpot title for the sixth consecutive year. Angela Ruggiero led Harvard with a goal and three assists and earned MVP honors. The Crimson went on to sweep conference opponent No. 10 Brown University by scores of 5-2 and 4-3, on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
