MADISON, Wisc. ­ The Western Collegiate Hockey Association and the Executive Committee of the women's league have accepted a report and list of recommendations made by the University of Minnesota-Duluth regarding an alleged incident of unsportsmanlike conduct that occured on Friday, February 6 during the UMD vs Ohio State hockey game.

The recommendations and actions to be taken by the University of Minnesota-Duluth include the following:

1. That public apologies be rendered
2. That UMD immediately provide additional DECC security behind the bench of the visiting teams for all home hockey games.
3. That the University of Minnesota-Duluth accept the suggestion from the Chancellor's Office that effective next season the institutional seats be moved from their present location to behind the UMD bench.

In addition to the above, a letter of apology is to be directed to the league office.
