Offensive Player of the Week
Kelly Stephens, Minnesota

Stephens, a senior from Shoreline Wash., scored a goal and three assists to help lead the Gophers to a two-game sweep of Minnesota State, February 19 and 20. The wins also gave the Gophers their second-straight WCHA regular-season title. Stephens scored two assists in the 5-0 win Saturday, including a helper on the game-winning goal. In her final home game of her career, Stephens set up the game-winning power play goal. She then scored her own power play goal in the second period. She also led the team with a +3 rating.

Defensive Player of the Week
Erika Vanderveer, Ohio State

Vanderveer, a sophomore goaltender from Bradford, Ontario, led the Buckeye defense as Ohio State went 1-0-1 at Niagara, February 18 and 19. She earned Ohio State's first shutout of the season Saturday as she turned away all 16 shots faced. In the 2-2 overtime tie Friday, she made 23 saves and allowing just the two goals. Vanderveer recorded a .960 goals against average and a .951 save percentage.

Rookie of the Week
Cara Wooster, North Dakota

Wooster, a freshman forward from Salvador, Saskatchewan, was North Dakota's offensive catalyst in the split with St. Cloud State, February 19 and 20. She scored a pair of goals in the Fighting Sioux's 5-1 win Saturday and was a game-high +4. Wooster then added another goal in Sunday's 4-2 loss. Wooster leads the team with 24 points and 11 assists and is tied for the team lead with 13 goals.
