Offensive Player of the Week

Caroline Ouellette, Minnesota Duluth

Ouellette, a junior forward from Montreal, Quebec, improved her hold upon the WCHA assist lead as she garnered five assists and a goal in the Bulldog?s sweep St. Cloud State. In Minnesota Duluth?s 7-1 win Friday, Ouellette scored a goal and dished out two assists, including assisting on the game-winning goal. Saturday, Ouellette picked up three more assists to add to her career-record total of 82, moving her into fourth on the Minnesota Duluth charts. Ouellette ended the weekend with six points and a +5 rating.

Natalie Darwitz, Minnesota

Darwitz, a sophomore from Eagan, Minn., returned to the Gopher lineup after missing 10 games to help Minnesota earn three of four points at Ohio State. In just her second game Saturday, a 6-0 Minnesota win, Darwitz scored three goals and added an assist. The hattrick was her third of the season including a four-on-four tally, a power-play goal and a short-handed goal. She also recorded the game-winning goal and her assist came on the power play.

Defensive Player of the Week

Melissa Glaser, Ohio State

Glaser, a junior goaltender from Rockford, Ill., helped backstop the Buckeyes? to a 1-1 tie with top-ranked Minnesota. Friday, Glaser made 35 saves and allowed just one goal. She posted a .972 save percentage and 0.92 goals against average. The tie was her second of the season and was just three saves shy of setting a season-high. On the season, Glaser has a 2.41 goals against average and a .919 save percentage.

Rookie of the Week

Lindsay Macy, Wisconsin

Macy, a freshman right wing from Ellendale, Minn., tallied six points to lead Wisconsin in overall scoring as the Badgers swept Niagara. In Friday?s 4-0 win, Macy recorded Wisconsin?s first hattrick of the season with her three goals. One of her goals came on the power play. Saturday, Macy scored a goal and added two assists as the Badgers posted an 8-1 win.
