Offensive Player of the Week
Krissy Wendell, Minnesota
Wendell, a sophomore forward from Brooklyn Park, Minn., scored six goals and two assists to lead the Golden Gophers to a WCHA sweep over St. Cloud State. The sweep also brought Minnesota their third regular season title in the past four years.
Friday, Wendell scored two power-play goals, including the game winner, and added an assist on a power-play tally to finish with three points on the night. Saturday, she totaled five points. Wendell collected her second four-goal single game performance of the season. One of her goals was short-handed, her sixth of the season and ninth of her career. With her short-handed goal, Wendell set the school record for the most short-handed goal in a career and a season. She also scored the game-winning goal and added an assist.

Defensive Player of the Week
Shannon Kasparek, Minnesota Duluth
Kasparek, a junior goaltender from South Lyon, Mich., earned a win in her first start of the season Saturday against Minnesota State.
She not only recorded her first start of the season, but she also recorded her first career shutout as a Bulldog. Kasparek shut down the Mavericks, making 14 saves in 60 minutes.
Kasparek owns a 0.91 goals against averaged and a .946 save percentage on the season and is 6-0-0.

Rookie of the Week
Meaghan Mikkelson, Wisconsin
Mikkelson, a freshman forward from St. Albert, Alberta, recorded a goal and an assist as the Badgers swept Bemidji State.
Saturday, Mikkelson tallied an assist as Wisconsin earned a 6-0 win. Sunday, Mikkelson scored the game-winning goal in the Badgers' come from behind 2-1 win over Bemidji State.
