Associate Commissioner Sara R. Martin and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced last May (2003) that the 2004 WCHA Final Five would be held at Ridder Arena on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, Minn. Dates for the womenıs conference playoff championship will be March 12, 13 and 14, 2004.

"The Association is pleased to have the opportunity to conduct the women's 2004 WCHA Final Five at one of the finest hockey facilities in the country in Ridder Arena," said Martin. "The University of Minnesota was most generous in stepping forward to provide the dates and the venue for us and will do an excellent job in assisting the league in hosting the event. We are all thrilled to have the chance to showcase our championship in both a state-of-the-art arena and a highly-supportive community."
