The 2004 NCAA champion Minnesota women's hockey team will throw the first pitch at the Twins game tomorrow night at the HHH Metrodome. The Gopher women's hockey team defeated Dartmouth, 5-1 in the semifinal and won the championship game, 6-2 over Harvard for the team's first NCAA championship. The women's hockey team is the only women's sport at the University of Minnesota to win a national championship.

The Gophers are also scheduled to throw out the first pitch at the St. Paul Saints game, May 24.
