WCHA Women's Teams Announce 2003-04 Signings

Fifty-one student-athletes signed as of June 2

2003 MacNaughton Cup champion Colorado College has signed eight players.

MSU head coach Jeff Vizenor has signed 11 players for 2003-04.

MADISON, Wis. - The seven schools that compete in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in women's ice hockey have announced the signing of 51 student athletes for the the 2003-04 school year. Six countries are represented including the United State of America (21), Canada (25), Germany (1), Sweden (1), Finland (2) and Switzerland (1). Of the 21 from the U.S., Minnesota leads with 12, followed by Wisconsin with three, California with two and Maine, Indiana, Pennsylvania and New York with one. Ontario leads the Canadian provinces with 12 recruits, while Alberta is second with seven. Quebec (3), Saskatchewan (2) and Manitoba (1) round out the represented provinces.
