WCHA PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Sis Paulsen --- Wisconsin

vs. Minnesota State, Nov. 9-10

Paulsen was the key element in Wisconsin's home sweep over Minnesota State with a team-high four points in the series. Paulsen recorded two goals in the Badgers' 4-1 victory on Friday, including the primary assist on the game-winning goal. On Saturday, Paulsen scored the game-winning goal to break a scoreless tie late in the second period, then set up the game's final goal in a 3-0 Badger win. The UW captain was +3 with eight shots in the series. She anchored a Badger defense that allowed 13 and eight shots against, respectively.

Paulsen took the league lead in scoring among defenders with the performance and now has 10 points on two goals and eight assists.

WCHA ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Kristy Oonincx --- Minnesota
Frosh * Forward * Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
vs. Bemidji State, 11/10-11

In her third and fourth career games played, Oonincx totaled four points at home against Bemidji State. Oonincx set up the first goal in Minnesota's 2-2 tie with the Beavers on Saturday. Oonincx scored her first collegiate goal and the game winner on Sunday in a 9-0 win over Bemidji State in the second game of the series. Oonincx had a team-high +5 rating against BSU and was +6 on the weekend.

Oonincx has scored a point in three consecutive games with her multiple-point game Sunday and has five points on two goals and three assists for the season.
