MADISON, Wis. - Five league teams were in action over the Thanksgiving weekend, but just one league series took place as Ohio State travelled to face Minnesota-Duluth.

Minnesota-Duluth, playing its first conference series in three weeks, took three of four points from the Buckeyes. The win and tie moved the Bulldogs within two points of first-place Minnesota and kept their 10-game unbeaten streak in tact.

The Gophers earned a win and tie themselves, with a home victory over Dartmouth and a tie with New Hampshire. Minnesota will look to keep its first-place title and its eight-game unbeaten streak alive when it visits second-place Wisconsin this week.

The Badgers played in the Thanksgiving Tournament in Lake Placid, N.Y., last weekend, falling to St. Lawrence in the first round. The Badgers skated to a tie with the Beatrice Aeros in the consolation game.

St. Cloud State will attempt to put a halt to Minnesota-Duluth's climb through the standing when it plays host to the Bulldogs for a Friday-Saturday series. The Huskies dropped a game to both visiting Dartmouth and New Hampshire last weekend.

Returning to action after two weekends off are Bemidji State and Minnesota State. The Beavers face upstart Mercyhurst in a two-game home series, while the Mavericks head to Connecticut for a two-game set with Quinnipiac.
