WCHA PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Hanne Sikio - Minn.-Duluth

vs. Ohio State (11/23-24)

Sikio collected two goals and two assists to lead the Bulldogs to a win and tie against visiting Ohio State.

The junior set up the first and fourth of UMD's goals in its 4-2 win over the Buckeyes in the first game of the series.

Sikio then scored the first two of Minnesota-Duluth's three goals in the Bulldogs 3-3 tie with OSU.

Sikio has five points and five assists for 10 points in eight games played this season.

vs. New Hampshire (11/25)

Horak helped Minnesota earn a win and a tie against then-No. 2 Dartmouth and then- No. 3 New Hampshire, respectively. She totalled 74 saves and allowed five goals for a .939 save percentage.

Horak recorded a career-high 43 saves in the game against Dartmouth. Minnesota was outshot 45-21 and 19-2 in the third period. In the game, Horak had a .956 percent save percentage.

In the second game of the weekend, Horak had 31 saves against New Hampshire.

Horak has a 4-0-1 record and started back-to-back games for the first time this season.
