BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – October 2, 2018 – Continuing to build exposure for its student-athletes and programs, the Women’s League of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) is once again partnering with FOX Sports North and FOX Sports Wisconsin for multi-game coverage during the 2018-19 campaign. The WCHA’s 20th anniversary season will feature nine of its regular season contests televised across the region’s preeminent sports networks.

The 2018-19 WCHA package begins Friday, Oct. 19 and includes the most regular season games in the three years of this partnership. Bemidji State University, the University of Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota State University, Ohio State University, St. Cloud State University and the University of Wisconsin will all be featured.
Highlighting the women’s schedule for “College Hockey on FOX Sports North” is a pair of games on Saturday, Jan. 19 as part of the network’s 13th Annual Hockey Day Minnesota event – a 1:00 p.m. outdoor game between host Bemidji State and Minnesota State, along with a 4:00 p.m. contest between visiting Ohio State and Minnesota Duluth.
Telecasts from St. Cloud will be produced by the award-winning crew of Husky Productions, while Minnesota State’s home games are made possible in part by the partnership between Maverick Athletics and the renowned BLC Studios, a division of Bethany Lutheran College.
