Karvinen recorded a five-point (4g, 1a) weekend, scoring two goals in each of North Dakota's two WCHA road victories at St. Cloud State on October 25-26. She scored both goals in UND's 2-1 win last Friday, then added both a power-play goal and shorthander last Saturday in her team's 6-1 victory over the Huskies. Karvinen also added an assist on the power-play in game two, to have a hand in both power-play goals over the weekend. She finished the series with eight shots on goal and a +3 plus/minus rating.

On the season, Karvinen's seven goals leads both the WCHA and the nation while her 12 points (7g, 5a) in eight games ties her for second in the league.

Ramsey recorded two points on one goal and one assist in undefeated and top-ranked Minnesota's October 25-26 conference road sweep of Bemidji State. She earned a +1 plus/minus rating in the series and blocked one shot while leading UM's defensemen with nine shots on goal.

Ramsey recorded her third goal of the season to put the Gophers up 2-0 at 6:58 of the second period in last Friday's 4-0 win. She also picked up an assist on Kate Schipper's power-play goal, which gave Minnesota a 3-0 lead. Ramsey, who was on the ice for three of her team's four goals in the series opener, then added three shots on goal in last Saturday's 4-3 win.

Ramsey is now ninth all-time among Gopher defensemen with 16 career goals and she is one point and one assist shy of 10th all-time among UM defensemen with 60 career points and 44 career assists.
