Junior goaltender Jennifer Harss made 21 saves for the Bulldogs

ST. CLOUD, Minn. - No. 8/9 Minnesota-Duluth shut out the Huskies Friday night 5-0 at the National Hockey Center.

The Bulldogs got two scores in the first period to set the tone early and added three more goals in the second. Junior Audrey Cournoyer led the way for UMD scoring three goals and also recording an assist. Senior Haley Irwin also had a four point night for the Bulldogs on a goal and three assists. Freshman Jenna McParland also scored for UMD and senior goaltender Jennifer Harss had 21 saves.

Freshman goaltender Julie Friend made 31 saves for the Huskies, who were outshot 36 to 21.

SCSU (5-20-2, 4-17 WCHA) and UMD (13-11-1, 10-10-1 WCHA) will do battle once again Saturday afternoon with the puck dropping at 2:07 PM at the National Hockey Center.
