WISCONSIN SKATES TO 5-0 WIN AT ST. CLOUD STATE
Senior forwards Brooke Ammerman and Carolyne Prevost each post goal and two assists for Badgers

Brooke Ammerman had a goal and two assists for Wisconsin

St. Cloud, Minn.- St. Cloud State fell 5-0 to first-ranked Wisconsin Friday night at the National Hockey Center.

The Badgers scored twice in the first period on goals from Hilary Knight (27) and Carolyne Prevost (19). Wisconsin then added two more scores in the second period on goals from Brianna Decker (30) and Blayre Turnbull (7). A goal from Brooke Ammerman (24) in the third period capped off the scoring for Wisconsin. Ammerman also had two assists, giving her three points on the night.

Wisconsin goaltender Alex Rigsby had 19 saves in the shutout. Freshman goaltender Julie Friend was in net for the Huskies and made 36 saves. Wisconsin out shot St. Cloud State 41-19 in the game.

Game two of the series is set for 2:07 PM Saturday in St. Cloud.
