ST. CLOUD, Minn. - St. Cloud State (6-16-1, 3-12-1) fell 4-0 in Saturday afternoons game against the Ohio State Buckeyes (13-9-2, 8-8-2 WCHA).

As the puck dropped in the first period, the Buckeyes put themselves on the board when they took advantage of a powerplay awarded to them when SCSU's, Lexi Slattery, went to the box for tripping, only 3:21 into the game.

Ohio State's second goal came late in the second period, when they found the back of the net, extending their lead 2-0 going into the third period.

The Huskies took an early penalty at the start of the third sending the Buckeyes back on the powerplay, which Ohio State capitalized on. The Huskies allowed one more goal in the third, ending the game with a 4-0 score.

The Huskies found themselves shorthanded 9 times, killing off 7 penalties successfully.

Goaltender Katie Fitzgerald faced __ shots in 60 minutes of play. Her record moves to 1-10-1.
