BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Bemidji State University women's hockey team scored four goals against No. 5 Ohio State University but fell to the Buckeyes (10-2-2, 8-2-2-1 WCHA) 5-4 in the series finale, Saturday afternoon. The Beavers (5-8-2, 3-6-1-1 WCHA) held a 3-2 lead after the first period, but three consecutive goals by OSU propelled the Buckeyes to the victory.

The Beavers started to mount a comeback in the final period and at 7:37 pulled within one from a power-play goal by Terres.
