Sophomore forward Gabbie Hughes registered three assists for the Bulldogs

St. Cloud State women's hockey dropped game two of the weekend to Minnesota Duluth for a score of 5-2.

The fast paced competition began with the Bulldogs taking the lead eight and a half minutes into the game. The Huskies bounced back just a minute later when freshman Olivia Cvar tallied a power-play goal for the Huskies. Cvar was assisted by Klara Hymlarova and Hallie Theodosopoulos. Cvar's goal makes this her fourth straight game tallying a goal for the Huskies. The Bulldogs stole the lead again with four minutes left in the first period.

The Bulldogs found the back of the net three more times in the second period to give themselves a four-goal lead over the Huskies.

Klara Hymlarova tallied the Huskies second goal in the third period. This is the fourth consecutive game where Hymlarova has notched at least one point for the Huskies. Hymlarova was assisted by freshman Taylor Lind.

Emma Polusny made 26 saves for the Huskies, while Janine Alder made 6 saves.
